Position Summary
Kiewit is hiring experienced Tig B-Pressure Hand Welders for the Woodfibre project located in Squamish, BC.
Requirements
Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding ticket
Valid Class A Pressure Welding Ticket for BC
If you hold an equivalent ticket from another province, you must be willing to obtain BC registration
3+ years’ experience with tig (GTAW) welding stainless steel and carbon
3+ years’ experience with stick (SMAW) hand welding
RMD experience is an asset but will train
Accepting DSPs
Must pass weld tests through CLAC – stainless tig, carbon tig, carbon stick
Shift Information
14/7 rotation
Day shifts, 10-hour shifts

Base Wage: $54.00 for B-Pressure Tig Welders
If DSP: $72.84
Additional site premiums available upon:
Successful completion of 30 DI using RMD
Completion of 50 DI with no repairs
Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test
