HOLLEY RANCH Ranch Laborer (temporary) in SPRINGVILLE, Utah
Temporary Need: 05/12/26 - 11/30/26. Ten (10) full-time, seasonal, temporary Ranch Laborers needed. Requirements: A minimum of three (3) months experience as ranch laborer. Able to lift 50 lbs. Wage is $17.84/hour.
Location: Work will perform in Springville and Spanish Fork, Utah.
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Mon.-Sat., 40 hours/week.
Duties:
Workers will perform a variety of duties related to general ranch operations. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide animal care, including feeding, watering, and monitoring livestock to ensure their health and well-being. Assist with equipment operation and maintenance, including basic operation of ranch equipment and performing routine cleaning and upkeep. Perform fencing installation, repair, and maintenance to maintain livestock enclosures and ranch boundaries. Conduct yard and property maintenance, including cleaning work areas, removing debris, and maintaining ranch grounds. Perform tree trimming and brush clearing to maintain safe and accessible ranch areas. Workers must follow all safety procedures and perform assigned duties as directed by supervisors. Work will be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Terms and conditions of employment: The worker is provided tools, supplies and equipment, as required by law, to work safely and effectively without charge or deposit, to the worker during the entire period of employment. Will work outdoors in all types of weather and occasional exposure to herding hazards such as poisonous snakes and predators. Must provide employment eligibility documentation (I9 verification) upon hire. The employer will provide, at no cost to the worker, Workers' Compensation coverage or private insurance which is equal to Workers' Compensation laws for comparable employment. The employer guarantees to offer the worker employment for a total number of work days equal to at least 3/4's of the total work period beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or advertised contractual first day of need. Whichever is later to occur, and ending on the expiration date specified. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer shall pay the worker the cost incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer ($16.28/day, $68/day maximum with receipts). The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage (AWER) that is issued and determined by DOL for the time period the work is performed (or whichever is the highest rate). This job is in connection with a future H-2A labor certification application.
