Role Summary: Production planning department is responsible for Product BOM Creation and material expedition and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the production process. Duties include a specific focus on the materials and goods required in the production phase, ensuring the working space is properly maintained to have optimal performance.
Location: Springville, UT.
Work Schedule: 100% on-site. Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
Support activities to sales, Project management and after market by providing technical & costing information.
Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization and on time shipment.
Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer demand.
Bill of material creation, Review and manage BOM structure in ERP system.
Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory.
Collaborate with Production, Supply chain quality control, warehouse and other staff.
Interacts with shop floor management on daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Projects and QA.
Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand.
Identify bottlenecks and ensure proper utilization of all resources to achieve operational targets.
Conduct daily meetings to keep track of planning & production schedules.
Responsible for addressing warranty & Site complaints
Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity.
Ensure an effective inventory management with acceptable values, turns and availability to meet the operation’s objectives.
Encouraging continuous improvement in all processes and services.
To stive department KPI’s where applicable.

Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in production planning and quality control principles within an Engineering-To-Order facility.
3 years of leadership experience.
Experience in MRP/ ERP system preferably Oracle and Microsoft Office products with strong computer skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to initiate corrective and preventive action and RCA
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
High level of presentation and reporting skills.
Flexible, self-motivated individual with a positive and proactive approach and strong customer service ethic.
Detail orientated and data focused.
Preferred:
Proven experience working as a Sr production planner for engineered Industry preferably large pump company.
Excellent ability in reading Engineering drawings / documents / Reports.
BS or BA Degree in relevant field
Proficiency in Power Query/ Power BI.
