Summary
Understands overall project support requirements, including facilities, personnel, and safety. Assist with the coordination’s on-site crew with regards to project to ensure effective and economical success. Maintains logistical support sequences and time phasing. Anticipates logistics problems related to operational areas and environmental human factors and recommends contingency requirements and solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Staff Supervisory Practices
Able to establish and maintain a strong customer focused working relationship.
Strong analytical skills to improve and understand the range of project plans.
Able to read and interpret floor plans, and the ability to draw a basic set of as-built plans.
Demonstrated capability for resolving logistical, technical and crew issues.
Able to assess progress and make logistical changes to improve project success.
Able to execute project work plans based on schedules and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, and ensure maximum efficiency.
Act as liaison with customer to maintain delivery schedules.
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
Minimize Company exposure and risk on project.
Commercial Relocation Crew Lead
Possess intricate knowledge of effectively running / managing a commercial relocation.
Act as Company liaison between customer and Company on job site.
Maintain cost effective and time sensitive move schedule to meet customer’s needs.
Effectively utilize crews, assigning specific tasks to ensure maximum efficiency.
Successful, completion of commercial relocation training program.
Knowledge of proper packaging / handling techniques for high value products.
Inter act with Building / Property Management to schedule loading dock / elevator usage.
Possess and maintain a Driver’s License, with the ability to qualify to drive a company passenger van is a plus.
Communication
Facilitate safety huddle and project scope briefing with crew prior to job start.
Maintain regular status updates with project team.
Keep project team well informed of changes within the client’s organization.
Effectively communicate relevant project information to Project Manager, if assigned leads.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Technical Understanding
Understand Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures, desirable.
Possess a thorough understanding of our reporting capabilities.
Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
Leadership
Mentor others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model.
Consistently acknowledge and appreciate each team member's contributions.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School education or GED equivalent, or at least five (5) years of industry related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general job-related documents, floor plans and maps. Ability to write job site reports, and lessons learned. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must.
