Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams while providing the highest level of customer service and image quality. This role involves coordinating daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of compassionate, holistic care that supports the rights and dignity of all patients.

What You'll Do in This Role

  • Coordinate and supervise daily Imaging operations, acting as the Imaging Manager in their absence and assisting with employee evaluations.

  • Perform all Radiology procedures in a timely manner to ensure high-quality images and maintain accurate documentation for all procedures.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth, development, and assessment for all age groups served, while ensuring patients move through the department efficiently.

  • Orientate and train new staff and students, lead by example, and promote teamwork across the department and hospital.

  • Maintain department productivity, manage staff breaks and lunches, and delegate tasks or adjust staffing levels based on volume.

  • Adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations, maintain a safe work environment, and participate in Performance Improvement (PI) plans and equipment maintenance.

  • Manage software applications, maintain department logs, and order supplies while staying within budget parameters.

What Qualifications You'll Need

  • Must be a graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration is required.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in acute care is strongly preferred.

  • Proven leadership qualities and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
