Job Title: Industrial Engineering Technician
Location: Springfield, TN
Pay Rate: $25/HR
Schedule: 1 st Shift, Monday-Friday – 6:30AM-3:00PM
Type: Contract to Hire
Job Purpose:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, efficiency, and product quality. Support Industrial Engineers in developing, monitoring, and optimizing production operations to enhance the everyday lives of millions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor production processes to ensure proper application and support process improvements.
Assist Industrial Engineers in developing and implementing methods to reduce workstation time, improve cycle time, and eliminate ergonomic risks.
Conduct time and motion studies to analyze work methods and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Document production processes, create and update standard operating procedures, and maintain accurate records of all process changes and improvements.
Function as a collaborative team member and actively contribute to group projects.
Apply experience and skills to complete assigned work within area of responsibility.
Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methodologies.
Receive verbal and written information, complete required documentation, and communicate accurately and timely.
Understand and effectively relay written instructions to others.
Adhere to and promote all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a 100% safe work environment.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and strive to improve customer satisfaction by increasing quality, reducing waste, and improving productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar applications.
Strong attendance record.
Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
EMS Yellow Gear or Lean Manufacturing certification, or equivalent.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to stand for 6 or more hours per day.
