Responsibilities

Statement of Purpose

This position is responsible for transporting product between the Bob Evans Transportation location in Springfield and the third part warehouse partner in Fairborn.

Accountabilities

  1. Deliver trailers of product to Fairborn and customer loads to Springfield

  2. Shuttles empty trailers for cleaning as needed

  3. Manage yard in Springfield and Fairborn as needed

  4. Assist with fueling trailers

  5. Verify and check all temperatures of the reefer units on the trailers

  6. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  7. Check the trailer loads are secure and balanced per the company guidelines for safety and efficiency.

  8. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Must possess a class “A” CDL Driver’s License
