Job Description Summary:
Trained to perform cleaning, cleanliness verification, and packaging per:
S308
S311-4 / -5 / -6 / -8
Approved Valve-specific Engineering drawing and:
Cleaning Procedures (CPs)
Test Procedures (TPs)
Test Reports (TRs)
Qualification Procedures (QPs)
Others as required
Performs:
Pre-cleaning / bulk cleaning using pre-cleaning equipment and established methods
Gowning / de-gowning for an ISO Class 5 cleanroom
Precision cleaning of piece parts, kits, and assemblies
Cleanliness verification for contamination (FOD), damage, and defects utilizing:
Evident CIX100 Particle Counting Microscopes
White light visual verification
Ultraviolet visual verification
Total Solids Analysis
Non-volatile Residue Analysis
Manual microscopes and video scopes
Packaging cleaned hardware per process or hardware-specific instructions
Maintenance checklists to monitor and maintain
Clean environment and equipment
Stocks of consumables (solvents, bagging plastic, gowning items, etc.)
Functional testing of electrical and pneumatic valve systems as required
Training of new technicians and providing feedback to engineering teams for continuous improvement of documents, procedures, tooling, and methods.
