How many hours per week are required? 10-20

Description of Primary Duties

Individual will work directly for the Material and Inventory Control Specialist and with assigned Stores Clerks, Business Services Staff, and Facilities Maintenance personnel.

General duties include:

• Interact with internal and external clients to identify, dispatch and receive stock parts

• Complete data inputs to record receipts, issue, transfer, and surplus for stock supplies and equipment

• Record and maintain inventory of materials, keep records of all documentation relating to the dispatch and receipt of goods

• Fill material requisitions and order forms

• Record damage, loss, and surplus of goods and materials stored in warehouses

• Keep record of service, use, and maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment

• Prepare inventory balances, prices lists, and other related documentation

• Operate assigned vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and supplies

• Sign Shop tasks assigned by the Material & Inventory Control Specialist, as needed

This position is limited to a 1000 hours in a rolling 12 month period.

Required Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent

• Ability to read and write English with good spelling and grammar skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with others

• Experience in warehouse/stockroom operations, bookkeeping, inventory management, or any other related field

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds of supplies safely

• Must have range motion physical capability to walk, lift, carry, and climb stairs

• Must be able to use common hand tools

• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license to operate assigned dispatch vehicle(s)

• Should possess strong analytical and mathematical skills

• Should have the ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and carry out orders

• Should have the ability of coordinating with other departments of the organization

• Should be compliant with all safety and legal documentation processes of a warehouse
