Job Description
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the Quality Engineering team in maintaining and improving product quality, manufacturing processes, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations. This is a hands-on internship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for students or recent graduates in engineering or a related field.
Internship dates: May 18th - August 14th (dates may vary depending on local college calendars)

In-office/non-remote
Springfield, MA
40 hours per week
Monday-Friday

The job may include but is not limited to the following:
First article inspection (assisting Quality Technicians and SQE’s):
Assist in preparing FA inspection, and incoming inspection plans.
Help set up and run inspections on products or materials for compliance with specifications.
Analyze test data and summarize results for review.
Assist in resolving quality issues:
Working on the manufacturing floor and assembly
Working with warranty
Assist with resolving quality issues utilizing FMEAs and RCA
Process and Quality Documentation:
Update or create work instructions, control plans, and quality procedures.
Support the documentation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Assist in maintaining records for audits and regulatory compliance.
Cross-Function Collaboration:
- Work with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve quality.
Assist calibration of gages using various types of measuring equipment
