CBRE Maintenance Associate - Chicopee in Springfield, Massachusetts

Are you a proactive self‑starter with strong common sense and hands‑onmaintenance skills? CBRE is looking for a Maintenance Associate to support an88,000 sq. ft. office, lab, and manufacturing facility in Chicopee, MA. In thisrole, you’ll play a key part in keeping the site running smoothly by performingessential custodial, building, and basic maintenance tasks.

As part of CBRE’s Engineering & Technical Services team,you’ll help deliver high‑quality support, preventive maintenance, and equipmentensuring a safe, productive environment for all employees. What You’ll Do:

• Developskills to perform basic preventative and reactive maintenance.

• Follow a setprocedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.

• Completepaperwork for property damage, equipment malfunctions, and unusualactivities.

• Assist withmonitoring the supply, equipment usage, and record inventory needs.

• Use existingprocedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunityto exercise discretion.

• Impactthrough clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

• Deliver ownoutput by following defined procedures and processes under close supervisionand guidance.

What You’ll Need:

• High SchoolDiploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.

• Ability tofollow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

• Communicationskills to exchange straightforward information.

• Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.

• Strongorganizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.

  • Minimum of two plus years of related experience and/or training in Commercial Real Estate Appraising. Advanced training in Appraisal/Valuation Services is a plus.

  • Right of Way (ROW) appraisal experience preferred.

  • State Certification (Certified General Appraisal License) preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to present information.

  • Requires average knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles. Basic understanding of approaches to the value of real estate assets.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite required. Good writing skills.

  • Decisions made with an understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Responsible for setting own project timelines. Errors in judgment may have a short-term impact on co-workers and supervisors.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is or $25.00per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $28.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
