Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Business Intelligence Lead to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions, as well as data engineering and Power BI reporting in support of federal programs. This position is fully remote within the United States.
Responsibilities
This person in this position leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions in support of federal programs. This role oversees integration-focused delivery across the M365 ecosystem while driving data engineering and business intelligence initiatives.
Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), and M365 collaboration tools in support of federal healthcare programs
Ensure SharePoint environments reflect visual professionalism, governance standards, and scalable architecture across multiple divisions and user groups
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support program analytics and clinical decision-making
Lead data engineering efforts including cross-cloud data pipeline design, integration, and management leveraging Azure Databricks and M365 services
Deliver scalable, sustainable solutions that meet federal industry standards and can be maintained long-term with minimal resources
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical Power Platform and SharePoint solutions
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on M365, Power Platform, and data visualization best practices
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience (or commensurate experience)
10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint and Power Platform solutions (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
Experience delivering solutions in support of federal healthcare or government programs
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL
Experience with data engineering and cross-cloud data integration
Demonstrated ability to build scalable, sustainable M365 solutions that meet federal standards
Experience managing SharePoint environments, including governance, permissions, and user administration
Clearance Required: None (Public Trust may be required)
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with Azure Databricks or similar cloud data platforms
Background in UI/UX design within SharePoint and Power Platform
Experience supporting VA or other federal health agency programs
Microsoft Power BI certification or equivalent
Familiarity with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms
Posted Salary Range
USD $155,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
