Description
Your Role:
As the Technical Project Officer within the Capability Development team, you will employ cutting edge Engineering outputs using contemporary design processes to develop aircraft capability improvements, resolve key obsolescence items and modernise the RAAF C-27J Fleet. Within this role, you will primarily be accountable for:
Drafting Engineering outputs in the form of Engineering reports, Engineeringinstructionsand Engineering Drawings to meet customer driven outputs
Employ Engineering assessmentand judgementto develop modifications bespoke to theaircraft
Assessing,reviewingand providing feedback on Engineering artefacts developed under the DefenceAviation SafetyAuthority MDO21J authority
Working with both Engineers and Project Managers to provideguidance and task mentoring for assigned modernisation projects
Develop project and certification plans to support the development, certification, installation and testing of new and/or upgraded Avionics systems
Support engineering workflow and assigned tasks in coordination with the customer’sorganisational priorities
Provide inputand Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness (ICA) on the platformtomaintainC-27J configuration, technical and operational publications
About You:
To be successful with this position, you will have:
Degreeor Technical Competenciesn Aerospace Avionics and/or Electrical Electronic Engineering,orarelatedexperience
Experience withtheapplication ofcivil and militarytechnical standards, principals, theories,conceptsand techniques
UnderstandingofaviationConfiguration Management concepts utilised by ADF and/or Civil Operations
Projector SystemsEngineeringprocessesandexperiencemanagingprojectsand understanding of Project or Systems Engineeringprocesses and tools
