ManpowerGroup Purchasing Clerk in Spring, Texas

Our client, a leading organization in the Oil and Gas sector, is seeking a Payroll and Purchasing Coordinator The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Payroll and Purchasing Coordinator

Schedule: Part time 24 hours/week, three days a week onsite (worker preference)

Location: Spring, TX

Pay Rate: $47

What's the Job?

  • Working with managers to validate vendor timesheets and invoices for approval.

  • Opening and managing POs for third party services.

  • Role is 70% payrolling, 30% invoicing.

  • Process requisitions and convert them into purchase orders daily to meet operational needs.

  • Collect and evaluate written proposals from vendors as necessary.

  • Address invoice discrepancies related to purchase orders and approve invoice payments

  • Coordinate with strategic buyers on project or turnaround purchases and potential bundling opportunities.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelors degree in finance or related field

  • 5 years experience processing payroll and POs

  • Knowledge of process improvements

  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors

  • Role is 70% payrolling, 30% invoicing.

  • Must have SAP, Outlook, and Sharepoint; interpersonal communication - working with global managers and engineers; 5+ years payrolling and invoicing experience

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.

  • Ability to handle invoice discrepancies and perform rate verification accurately.
