Job Role Description
The Data Architect - Advanced is responsible for architecting and designing data solutions and services enabling ExxonMobil businesses. They are considered to be technical leaders, visionaries, and liaisons between business and IT. This role is for those architects focused on data design, implementation, and support processes (typically includes System or Solution Architects focused on Data & Analytics, Data architects in CDO / business)
Job Role Responsibilities
Ensures that aspects of an architectural design have been clearly thought out, articulated and fully aligned with business needs while addressing impacts to other underlying platforms and technology components
Leverages existing reference architectures, technology strategies, business capabilities, and gaps to deliver optimal solutions based on the right prioritization within the given funding parameters
Creates logical and physical architectures and designs
Develops prototypes and designs / builds architectural runways for delivery teams
Maintains application and / or technology portfolio information
Leads by example by demonstrating behaviors aligned with ExxonMobil Expectations of Leaders
