About the Role
The One HP Creator Specialist is HP's central owner for building and scaling a best-in-class Creator & Influencer ecosystem across CPS, Printing and Gaming (HyperX Peripherals and HyperX OMEN) in North America. Sitting within the One HP North America team, this role is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing an always-on and campaign-based creator engine that drives authentic storytelling, cultural relevance, and measurable business impact across the full HP portfolio.
This role brings together creator-led productivity, everyday technology storytelling and gaming culture -ensuring HP shows up cohesively across platforms, audiences, and moments. You will own creator strategy end-to-end: from sourcing and contracting, to briefing and content QA, to integration across paid media, earned PR, events, sponsorships, and retail.
You will partner closely with several teams, including Gaming Marketing, Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, Comms/PR, Internal Media, Category/Planning, Alliances, and Insights & Performance, and serve as a connective tissue across teams to unlock cross-portfolio opportunities and shared creator learnings.
Key Responsibilities
1) Creator Program Strategy & Planning (One HP Mindset)
Own the North America Creator Program strategy across CPS, Gaming and Printing-defining audience tiers, verticals, platforms, content formats, cadences, and investment models.
Balance always-on creator presence with campaign and NPI-driven activations across CPS, Gaming and Print.
Translate business priorities, launches, and alliance goals into integrated creator roadmaps that ladder into paid media, earned PR, experiential, and retail plans.
Partner with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with One HP standards, playbooks, and brand safety guidelines.
Collaborate closely with alliance partners (e.g., Microsoft) to build shared creator narratives, joint investments, and co-branded programs.
2) Creator Sourcing, Vetting & Contracting
Build and manage a diverse, high-performing creator roster spanning:
Productivity, education, SMB, creative professionals, families, and lifestyle creators
Gaming creators, streamers, esports talent, and tech reviewers
Lead creator due diligence including brand safety, content history, sentiment analysis, and audience authenticity.
Negotiate contracts and terms (fees, usage rights, exclusivity, whitelisting/allow-listing) in partnership with legal, procurement, and influencer agencies.
Oversee product and hardware seeding across PCs, Gaming and Print, including logistics, tracking, and value-exchange frameworks.
3) Briefing, Content Creation & Quality Assurance
Develop native-first creator briefs with clear narratives, claims, creative guardrails, and platform-specific best practices (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Discord).
Guide creators across a wide range of deliverables including:
Live streams, short- and long-form video, reviews, unboxings
Productivity workflows, tutorials, creative showcases, lifestyle integrations
Own content QA to ensure brand accuracy, legal compliance, FTC disclosures, alliance requirements, and platform norms.
Capture and organize creator assets for reuse across owned channels, paid amplification, PR, events, and retail PDPs.
4) Integration Across Paid, Earned, Events & Retail
Partner with Internal Media to enable paid amplification of creator content, including whitelisting, performance optimization, and creative iteration.
Work with One HP Earned, Experiences & Sponsorships to integrate creators into tentpole moments, sponsorships, and flagship events (e.g., CES, cultural moments, brand activations).
Collaborate with Retail Marketing and eCommerce teams to adapt creator content for:
Retail PDPs and brand stores
Landing pages and omnichannel campaigns
In-store and online shopper education
Ensure creator efforts support full-funnel goals-from awareness and engagement to consideration and sell-through.
5) Measurement, Optimization & Reporting
Define and track KPIs across reach, views, engagement, retention, EMV, sentiment, CTR, share of voice, and assist-to-traffic/sales.
Partner with Insights & Performance to build dashboards, reporting frameworks, and post-campaign readouts.
Run test-and-learn programs across creators, formats, hooks, CTAs, and timing to continuously improve performance.
Manage budgets across creator fees, production, seeding, and usage rights, ensuring strong ROI and operational rigor.
What You Bring
5-7+ years of experience in creator/influencer marketing, ideally across consumer tech, productivity, gaming or lifestyle categories.
Proven ability to run end-to-end creator programs: strategy, sourcing, contracting, briefing, execution, amplification, and reporting.
Deep fluency in creator ecosystems, alongside strong understanding of productivity, creative, and everyday tech audiences.
Experience working cross-functionally with paid media, PR/earned, retail, events, and alliances to deliver integrated outcomes.
Strong analytical mindset with comfort in KPIs, optimization, and budget management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and operational discipline.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
