Six Flags EMT - Basic, Intermediate, Paramedic in SPRING, Texas
Overview:
Six Flags Splashtown is looking for a skilled EMT (varying levels) to join our Safety department. This position is responsible for providing first aid and emergency medical care, as well as promoting safety awareness throughout the park. .
Pay: $17.50/Hr
Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned, needed, orrequired
Recognize the need for special oradditionalassistance including basic life support, advanced life support, and other emergency services
Act in the best interest of the patient
Information gathering, reporting, and documentation
Inspection, inventory, maintenance and cleaning of grounds, facilities, work areas supplies and equipment
Understand and perform appropriately under the emergency response plan including disaster and multiple casualty incidents
Infection control, biohazardous material identification, clean up and disposal
Understand, support, and follow standard operating procedures and patient care protocols
Administrative duties may include filing, distribution, computer operations, and data entry
Telecommunications, radiocommunicationsand dispatch of resource
Safety audits within the park as instructed by Public Safety Manager
Reports to: Safety Sr. Supervisor and Public Safety Manager
Qualifications:
18 years or older
Mustpossessand maintain valid EMT- B, I/A, or P certification in Texas, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Has obtained high school diploma or equivalent
Will berequiredto work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights,weekendsand holidays
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Computer literacy, strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications
Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, balance, kneel andlift upto 40- pounds occasionally
