Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machine operator to efficiently operate and set up various power tools and machinery, including portable drills, saws, impact wrenches, grinders, stationary cable cutter, heat shrinking machines, hydraulic press, drill press, and cold saw. The role involves reading and comprehending shop drawings to produce accurate parts and performing quality checks to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up stationary power tools, including cable cutter, heat shrinking machines, and hydraulic press.
Utilize portable power tools such as drills, saws, impact wrenches, and grinders effectively.
Operate a drill press, cold saw, and other miscellaneous machinery.
Read and comprehend shop drawings for accurate part production.
Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Essential Skills
6+ months of experience as a machine operator with computerized machinery.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with tape measure, router, hydraulic press, bandsaw, crane operation, and forklift.

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial environment that manufactures manholes, handholes, vaults, water meter pits, and drainage box culverts. The facility includes machinery, welding stations, and a warehouse area for staging outgoing products. The temperature varies with cooler conditions in winter and warmer in spring and summer. The team consists of approximately 10-15 members, including welders, assemblers, and laborers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SPRING CITY, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
