As a Rental Sales Representative at Ryder, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our customers — the person they count on to understand their needs, solve their problems, and keep them coming back.
Position Details
Location: Onsite – 2509 N Farr Ln, Spokane, WA 99206
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management, you’ll have the resources and support to deliver for your customers every single day.
What You’ll Do
You’ll have ownership across four key areas of the business:
Sales & Marketing
Handle inbound sales calls and drive outbound solicitation to grow the customer base
Execute the business unit’s marketing plan and maintain accurate marketing database records
Maximize rate opportunities within the marketplace
Generate leads for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales
Maintain and expand relationships with the existing customer base
Coordinate inventory levels to meet customer demand and maximize operational effectiveness
Drive overall Ryder market share through successful execution of sales and marketing initiatives
Operations & Asset Management
Oversee the profitability, operations, and asset management of a rental location
Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory requirements
Leverage a complete understanding of marketplace conditions to maximize rental fleet utilization
Customer Success
Drive profitable revenue growth by maintaining and deepening customer relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external customer satisfaction
Resolve customer concerns, issues, and disputes to protect and grow the ongoing relationship
Communication & Relationship Building
Build constructive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain composure and professionalism when navigating challenging situations
Clearly articulate Ryder’s product and service offerings to customers at all levels

Additional Responsibilities
On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Sales Representative will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
H.S. diploma/GED required
One (1) year or more sales experience required
DOT Regulated: No

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
