FTE: 0.9 Full-Time, Shift: Nights, Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am), rotating weekends Hospital Based Float RN must be an experienced RN with a background in ICU or PCU/Step-Down nursing. This role requires flexibility to float within the hospital as needed. Position Summary We're seeking a float pool staff RN to join our incredible hospital-based team and support a variety of our acute care departments. Responsibilities You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds Requirements Bachelors degree in Nursing Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN) Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements Minimum (2) years of experience Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state About Deaconess Hospital Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the greater Spokane region.
