The Opportunity with Overcast
We’re hiring an Automated Equipment Operator to support manufacturing operations onsite at Overcast. This role will be hired via our growing Overcast division in Spokane, WA. This is a contract to hire role where you’ll play a key part in operating specialized equipment to machine parts used in production.

What You’ll Be Doing
Operate automated equipment such as T-Drill or CNC machines
Read and interpret P&IDs
Program CNC controls, monitor machine cycles, and make adjustments as needed
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment
Ensure quality and accuracy of finished components
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Support overall production flow within the facility
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED
2–5 years of experience in CNC machine operation
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Nice to Have
Experience with T-Drill equipment (highly preferred)
CNC certification or formal training
OSHA 10 certification
Familiarity with ASME/ASTM standards

This is an hourly contract role, with a pay range of $22.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
