• [Generate revenue by making payment arrangements, collecting accounts and monitoring and pursuing delinquent accounts]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with insurance providers, monitoring payments and following up with insurance companies when payment lapses occur]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Maintain Medicare bad-debt cost report]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Secure outstanding balance payments for care of employees]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Required Skills & Qualifications

• [Proven work experience as a Medical Biller or similar role]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Excellent written and verbal communication skills]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Meditech Expanse or Epic experience required.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Experience working directly with insurance companies]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Rural health clinic billing experience]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Critical access hospital experience required.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Pay Rate: $26.00- $33.00 per hour
