Insight Global Shift Technician in Spartanburg, South Carolina

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a shift technician to be a part of the maintenance technician team and is responsible for ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include performing repairs and replacements, completing preventive maintenance tasks such as filter changes, belt adjustments, calibrations, cleaning, and electrical checks, and supporting predictive maintenance activities by identifying potential equipment failures based on performance indicators. The technician will also conduct safety checks to ensure guards, emergency stops, and interlocks are functioning properly, maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs, and complete regular servicing such as lubrication, cleaning, and component adjustments.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of industrial machinery maintenance experience

5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience

Strong electrical troubleshooting background (drives, relays, etc.) Automotive background

Relevant certification or degree (e.g., mechatronics, journeyman electrical, or similar credentials beyond OSHA 10), demonstrating continued skill development
