Purem Novi, Inc. seeks Assistant Controller in
Spartanburg, SC to provide monthly financial reports to management as an underlying basis for business decisions. Perform budget compilation for strategic derivation. Analyze procedures and processes in order to ensure that they are in line with group policies. Ad-hoc analysis-special requests from management. Ensure all policies and procedures implemented are in accordance with BU policy. Ensure all controls established by the BU are in place and audited monthly. Collaborate with the Plant Team and be a Business Partner to provide information to make wise business decisions. Provide budgeting including collecting sales data from sales department, deriving cost of material out of SAP via Bill of Materials for site assigned. Prepare and collaborate with Department Managers to Budget all overhead costs. Implement SPA processes. Incorporate investment budget and calculate depreciation, run all SAP routines to derive final budget (P andL Statement). Prepare accurate Rolling Forecasts monthly and explain Actual variances to Budget and Previous Forecasts. Provide monthly reporting including validation of total sales, run all necessary SAP routines to derive reporting, and actual budget deviation analysis. Provide SAP training for management and other users.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, and at least two (2) years of experience as a Financial Analyst or a similar position utilizing all of the following in the automotive exhaust production industry: month-end close procedures; accounting entries; internal reporting; invoice process and verification; reconciling Monolith and Directed Buy pricing; interpreting cost changes to produce inventory revaluation; processing financial internal control; compiling data and preparing reports; deriving cost of material via Bill of Materials; validation of total sales; actual to budget deviation analysis; producing KPI; validating and reconciling fixed asset data; and data mapping and data discrepancy resolution.
