JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our Jailers provide jail security through care, custody, and control of inmates; they prepare paperwork, forms, booking information, and reports; and they maintain public security and confidence in dealing with the public either in person or by phone. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: No felony convictions, good verbal and written communications, ability to react quickly and effectively to stressful situations, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Other: A Monroe County application is required.
