MONROE COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCES Environmental Health Specialist in SPARTA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our Environmental Health Specialist assists with the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Health program and will promote and monitor individual, environmental, and population health programs and contracts. This position will assist in the enforcement of food & health safety laws, administrative codes, regulations, and standards governing retail food and recreational licensing programs under the authority of Wisconsin Statues. This work involves conducting required inspections, surveys, water sampling and/or audits to ensure compliance of existing local and state public health and environmental codes, regulations and policies. This position will also provide health education and technical assistance to individuals and/or groups regarding compliance and will investigate complaints regarding environmental health problems and hazards. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Other: A Monroe County application is required.
