ManpowerGroup Lead Critical Facilities Technician in Sparks, Nevada
Our client, a leading data center and cloud infrastructure provider, is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer (DCOE) Lead to join their team. As a DCOE Lead, you will be part of the Engineering Operations Department supporting Critical Facilities and Data Center Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $45/hr.
6–24-month contract
Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Data Center / Critical Facility Experience – Hands-on experience operating and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure environments
Electrical & Mechanical Systems Expertise – Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH systems
Leadership / Team Oversight – Experience leading technicians, managing shifts, and mentoring junior team members
What’s the Job?
Lead operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH)
Monitor BMS/DCIM systems and respond to alarms to maintain environmental stability
Act as Shift Lead, coordinating team workload, priorities, and escalations
Train and mentor L1/L2 technicians through hands-on guidance and structured OJT programs
Ensure compliance with safety standards, perform audits, and support incident response
What’s Needed?
5+ years of experience in a data center or critical facilities environment
Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, cooling systems)
1+ year of leadership or team lead experience
Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA, LOTO, and NFPA 70E
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
