SUMMARY:
ThisHousekeepingopportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible
schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
- Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.
