Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a Instruments Test Tech to join their team. As a Instruments Test Tech, you will be part of the Production Department supporting testing and system analysis. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Instruments Test Tech
Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD
Pay Range: $25
Shift: Days 7:00 am - 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization.
Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues with test equipment.
Analyze test results and data to determine pass/fail status and provide solutions for failures.
Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements to enhance instrument performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
What's Needed?
AA degree in mechatronics or a relevant field, or 5 years of troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical, or software areas.
Proficiency in reading drawings, interpreting measurements, and understanding work instructions.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support continuous improvement efforts.
Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all work activities.
