Assistant Branch Manager II (FT) Southwick Branch \$28 - \$37.65 Hourly Department: Retail Banking Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Grade: 9 Reports to: Branch Manager Amount of Travel Required: Travel as Required Positions Supervised: Branch Personnel POSITION SUMMARY Supports branch manager by providing customer service in all areas and overseeing teller line to ensure efficient service and satisfied customers. Assists in leading and managing a mid-size branch, the branch level is based on the following key components: Branch Deposits, Staff FTE, Teller Transaction Volume, Sales Expectations, Market Opportunity and Specialty Programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Applies the Westfield Bank Service and Sales Process during customer interaction to acquire and enhance customer relationships. Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards. Assigns work, provides training and guidance and advises subordinates as necessary. Resolving routine personnel problems. Assists Management Team in various administrative and supervisory duties. Answer credit inquiries, accept applications and close consumer loans. Provides support and input for internal incentive programs created for branch. Opens new accounts and performs account and person maintenance as needed. Obtains NMLS to take home equity loans or line applications and serve as a liaison between the customer and Loan Operations until loan closes. Resolves customer problems. Assist customers with Safe Deposit. Achieves specialty program goals as assigned. Must obtain official designations/certifications as required (i.e. notary public, medallion, etc.). Performs higher level specialty function as designated. Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned. Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position. Performs additional duties as requested. Associates Degree Preferred. Previous sales, customer service and supervisory experience required.
