Robert Half Manager of Operations Accounting in Southlake, Texas
Description We are looking for a Manager of Operations Accounting to oversee accounting processes and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Based in Southlake, Texas, this role is ideal for an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills and expertise in managing complex accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger management and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate and prepare for financial statement audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Manage account reconciliation processes to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
• Review and approve journal entries to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline intercompany accounting processes.
• Utilize NetSuite and business banking platforms for efficient financial operations.
• Develop and implement organizational policies that support effective accounting practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering growth and development.
• Analyze financial data and present actionable insights to support organizational decision-making. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including prior managerial responsibilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functionality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with NetSuite accounting system and business banking platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting processes and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
