Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Southlake, Texas
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Southlake, Texas. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment with a supportive team. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency, particularly in managing vendor payments and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
• Process manual vendor invoices, handling approximately 65 invoices per week.
• Manage vendor integrations through Excel, accommodating unique processes for 3-4 vendors.
• Oversee weekly mileage expense reimbursements using Excel integrations.
• Facilitate direct sales vendor payments through Excel on a weekly basis.
• Execute all weekly payment runs, ensuring timely completion of check runs on Tuesdays and vendor payments on Wednesdays.
• Perform vendor and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle vendor maintenance tasks, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
• Monitor and address outstanding checks to ensure proper resolution. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including handling integrations and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines, particularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
• Familiarity with vendor and account reconciliation processes.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
