ManpowerGroup Logistics Specialist in Southfield, Michigan
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations support team, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Location: Southfield, MI
Pay Range: $21-23/hr.
Shifts Available:
12:00PM-9PM Monday through Friday
7AM-4PM Tuesday-Saturday
3PM-11PM Monday-Friday
What's the Job?
Provide logistics support including order entry, routing, and dispatching
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and condition-compliant arrivals
Coordinate traffic and schedule delivery appointments based on operational needs
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and account managers regarding load status and issues
Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete necessary documentation
What's Needed?
At least 1 year of logistics experience
Basic knowledge of the transportation industry
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
