ManpowerGroup Building Maintenance Technician 5 in Southaven, Mississippi
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician , you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the maintenance and safety of the operational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Southaven, MS
Pay Range: $28/hr - $30/hr
Shift: M-F 7am-4pm - Some On Call
What's the Job?
Perform preventive maintenance on docks/doors, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
What's Needed?
0-2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
Basic understanding of docks/doors, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently
Good communication and customer service skills
