Town of Southampton Seasonal Part Time Lifeguard in SOUTHAMPTON, New York
Lifeguards monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents, recognize distress, and perform aquatic rescues. They enforce rules and regulations and administer first aid, CPR and AED in emergencies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 16+ for Surf (Ocean) and 15+ for Still (Foster Memorial - Bay Beach)Must be Suffolk County Certified; required to recertify in our CPR-recertification course We offer four courses to get certification for Still Water and/or Surf.Salary is $20.26 per hour.
