Encore AV Installation Technicians in South Wharf, Australia
We’re building a pool of experienced AV Installers to support ongoing integration and commissioning work across Melbourne.
If you’ve got proven experience installing commercial AV systems — cabling, terminations, hardware mounting, commissioning — and enjoy delivering neat, reliable work on professional sites, we’d love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
You’ll support our Integration Team on project-based installation and commissioning across corporate venues, hotels, function spaces and commercial sites. There’s also the opportunity for ongoing fault-fix and upgrade tasks alongside our in-venue team. This will be ideal for installers wanting variety and continuity between projects.
Core Responsibilities
pulling, routing and terminating AV cabling
mounting displays, speakers, projectors, racks, wall plates + hardware
device configuration and basic commissioning
reading drawings + following install standards
safe work on active construction and venue sites
Your Background
2 years experience in commercial AV installations, low-voltage cabling + terminations and commissioning/ configuration of AV systems
confidence working independently + within project teams
strong attention to detail and clean workmanship
experience working on construction or commercial sites
your own basic hand tools (specialised tools + equipment provided)
reliability and clear communication
Tickets/Certifications
Construction White Card (required)
Open Cabling Accreditation + endorsements
EWP/High Risk
Working at Heights
First Aid/CPR
Vendor/manufacturer training (Crestron, Q-SYS, Dante, etc.)
