ManpowerGroup Groundsman Apprentice in South Point, West Virginia
Manpower is now hiring for a Groundman Apprentice for a local tree service company. No climbing or chainsaw use required during your first 90 days. This is a great opportunity to learn the arborist trade and grow into higher‑paying responsibilities once hired full‑time.
Pay & Schedule
$13/hr to start (opportunity for increase once hired on perm)
Full-time, Monday–Friday 8a-5p.
Temp-to-perm opportunity
What You’ll Do
Assist crew as an Operations Support Assistant
Fuel and oil equipment
Organize tools and the truck at day’s end
Learn ropes, knots, and basic arboriculture
Support climbers from the ground
What We’re Looking For
Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
Able to work outdoors and lift 50lbs.
Team player with good attitude
Reliable transportation
MUST be able to pass a background check
