Job Description: Implement and oversee QA/QC programs to ensure construction materials, field practices, and completed work comply with engineering designs and project specifications. Conduct site inspections of foundations, pavements, concrete, earthwork, and utilities for compliance with plans and safety standards. Perform pre- and post-construction condition surveys and assist with evaluating structural settlement or construction-related damage. Manage geotechnical field investigations, including soil borings, sampling, and boring logs, and recommend engineering solutions for foundations and structural support. Review engineering drawings and project plans, perform basic engineering calculations, and prepare QA/QC reports, inspection documentation, and project progress records. Coordinate scheduling, resource planning, utility mark-outs, and related project management activities. Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and QA/QC requirements. Support engineers by reviewing test results, developing technical recommendations, and assisting with engineering reports. Train staff in construction testing, safety practices, and QA/QC documentation. Conduct pile evaluation activities, including PDA and PDI testing, and assist with preparing final reports.Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field of study.
