Gilbertsville Farmhouse Event Venue/Rooms Cleaning Specialist in South New Berlin, New York
We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant/Housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards, to attend all areas of our resort-style venue including event spaces and currently 41 rooms. Must be a self-starter and willing to learn, with a pleasant disposition. Candidate must also be able to work alone for most of the day. Must be able to work schedule below Sundays 12 to 5pm. Must have own transportation. <pP Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a resort-style wedding venue specializing in weekend weddings located in Central NY (45 minutes from Cooperstown, NY, and 25 minutes from Oneonta, NY). We are a growing company looking to build a solid team. <p> Job Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming; Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas; Make beds and change linens; Replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products; Empty trash and dispose of waste properly; Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits; Maintain equipment in good condition; Keep all supplies organized; Laundry onsite to be done and coordinated; Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations; Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws <p> Qualifications / Skills desired: Proven working experience in relevant field; Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred; Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus; Ability to work independently and remain motivated; Prioritization and time management skills; Professionalism along with speed, strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks; Experience in the hospitality industry or housekeeping management is an asset; Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients; Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
Schedule: Sunday: 1pm-6pm; Schedule can vary, so some flexibility is required based on event schedule and finish time of job duties. If picked will have exact schedule at time of interview for season with possibilities or more Sundays upon new events scheduled <p>
