CHALK LINE PROS LLC Sales & Canvassing Representative (temporary) in SOUTH JORDAN, Utah

Chalk Line Pros LLC, 9463 S Lady Dove Ln, South Jordan, Utah, (248) 613-1161, is looking to fill 1; Summer Sales & Canvassing Representative (Roofing Services) positions from April 1 2026 - September 30 2026. This is for temporary, full-time seasonal employment.

Duties include • Door-to-door residential canvassing to promote roofing inspection availability on behalf of Chalkline Roofing • Educate homeowners on roof maintenance and storm-related damage indicators • Perform non-technical, visual exterior observations only (no roof access or inspections) • Collect homeowner contact information and consent for follow-up • Schedule inspection appointments for Chalkline Roofing project managers • Enter lead and appointment data into CRM systems • Distribute company-approved marketing materials • Attend required training related to safety, customer interaction, and compliance • Workers will not perform roofing work, construction, repairs, insurance adjusting, or provide insurance or legal advice.

Requires at least 6 months of experience in roofing sales preferred. Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods; Must have strong verbal communication skills; Must have possess basic smartphone proficiency; Must have a valid Utah Driver's License (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire/arrival in the US; Must be able to lift 25--50 lbs. and actively engage with customers; Flexible schedule for occasional evenings or weekends.

This position pays $16.95 per hour and typically requires work five days per week, including weekends and holidays as needed. Days and hours of work per week are 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Will perform Summer Sales & Canvassing Representative (Roofing Services) services in Davis County, Salt Lake County and Utah County in Utah.

Overtime is not available for the position.

A single work week will be used to compute wages due. Pay period is weekly.

Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.

Housing is not provided.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workers are dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs for return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workers originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts.

Reimbursement in the first week of work for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).

The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training on the proper use of tools and equipment.

The employer guarantees, as required by law, to offer work for the hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period.
