SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This position is responsible for a variety of on-line technical assignments related to the operations of insert molding.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
Monitors and oversees the technical set up parameters of the insert molding machines.
Performs basic tooling set-up and change over's on insert molding machines.
Ensures that the work area, machines and equipment are operating safely, clean and orderly.
Ensures insert molding machines are set up and running within specified limits.
Is responsible for providing training on all insert molding machines and support equipment.
Coordinates with leads and site technical trainer on operator certifications.
Provides technical feedback to engineers and supervisor on process and tooling problems.
Provides leadership on an as needed basis for department leads when they are absent.
Interacts and partners with maintenance and engineering for all insert molding technical concerns.
Receives directions and training from Supervisor, Engineer and maintenance.
Working overtime may be required for this position.
Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with a minimum of three years work related experience. Insert molding experience preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve moderately complex technical problems.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs
Ability to work well as a team member and leader
Attention to detail and good communication skills.
Knowledge of various tooling and testing equipment.
Ability to effectively train personnel.
