Job Title: Production Test Operator (Tech)
Creative Electronics and Software (CES) is a privately owned (started in 1989) Contract Electronics and PCB Manufacturer with manufacturing locations in South Elgin IL and Las Vegas NV. We support a diversified customer base that includes: RFID, energy conservation, medical equipment, military, wireless telemetry, gaming & entertainment, smart grid, and industrial controls.
Summary:
Functionally test printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure proper operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical and/or optical final tests on production assemblies as assigned by the Test Lead/Supervisor.
{=html} <!-- --> - Operate standard test equipment, meters, fixtures, and tools to verify functionality. - Follow detailed, written test procedures and work instructions. - Accurately record test data, results, and observations in required documentation or computer system. - Identify test failures and report issues to Test Lead/Supervisor. - Learn basic troubleshooting techniques and proper use of test equipment. - Adhere to all safety, quality, and ESD procedures. - Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with manufacturing standards.
\ Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced production team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
Starting Pay Range: \$16 - \$18 Hourly
