US LBM Outside Sales Representative in South Dennis, Massachusetts
Mid-Cape Home Centers traces its roots back to 1895, & today supplies professional builders, remodelers & homeowners in Massachusetts\' South Shore, Cape Cod & the Islands with lumber & specialty building materials from its six locations in the southern coastal region of Massachusetts. . A Brief Overview The Outside Sales Representative generates & secures new sales to increase the profitability of the company. This position maintains existing accounts while generating new business through cold calls & following leads. What you will do Promote, sell, & secure new accounts for the company. Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, & information. Assist with the selection of products best suited to customer needs. Prepare, coordinate, & communicate price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, & service obligations to customers/contractors. Resolve customer complaints & problems. Assist in the collection of accounts receivable. Coordinate project schedules, contractor schedules, & material deliveries. Prepare & input orders as necessary. Informs company of competitive prices, products, & area-related information. Maintain current knowledge of daily & monthly sales & their relationship to budget & margin goals. Research & order special products as necessary. Estimate materials from blueprints supplied by customer/contractor. Adhere to Conflict of Interest or Non-Compete agreement if in place. Comply with Company?s attendance policy by maintaining regular & predictable attendance. Required For All Jobs Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies & standards. Adheres to Company?s commitment to workplace safety. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Qualifications 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required. Skills & Abilities Working knowledge of building materials industry & products, ability to negotiate prices & contractual agreements. Estimating from blueprints, ability to use calculator & computer. Strategic Mindset - Seeing ahead to future possibilities & translating them into breakthrough strategies.
