Job Title: Assembler Job Description
Assemblers are responsible for working off a material list to gather correct materials, using blueprints and assembly drawings to correctly assemble products, picking and packing supplies, and performing repair operations. This role operates in a fast-paced environment where candidates will gather materials, assemble products, and conduct tests and inspections across various departments.
Responsibilities
Work across three sections on the assembly line, including retrieving products from the conveyor belt and inserting or adjusting linings within the product.
Assemble handles and pins, and insert them onto products.
Insert foam into products, package them, and prepare for shipment.
Rotate between different sections to ensure a non-repetitive workday.
Gather proper materials to set up an assembly off of a conveyor.
Use tools, review prints, and measure with a tape measurer.
Ensure specifications are followed and perform tests on products.
Essential Skills
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work in a collaborative setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Trade school experience.
Automotive experience.
Assembly experience.
Blueprint reading.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, organized, and well-lit. Assemblers can work on one of three shifts: 1st Shift from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (M-F), 2nd Shift from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (M-F), and 3rd Shift from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am (S-T).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Deerfield, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.20/hr.
