TITLE: Transportation Supervisor
SALARY: $70,000 - $100,000 annually (based upon experience)

ANNOUNCEMENT OF APPOINTMENT:As soon as possible thereafter
QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency
diploma AND three (3) years of experience in motor vehicle fleet operations, one (1) year of
which must have been in a supervisory capacity, and one (1) year of experience in a school bus
operations.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (Prior to Appointment):Possession of the following at appointment and during service in this classification:
Class B CDL with air brake, (P), and (S) endorsements
19-A Certified Examiner certificate issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV).
NOTE: Candidates must additionally obtain a School Bus Driver Instructor (SBDI) certification issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) within 18 months of appointment.
