Title : Elementary High Ability Tutor
Location : SBCSC Elementary Schools
Contract Length: 2025 - 2026 School Year
Hourly Rate : $22.00
Reports to : High Ability Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Elementary High-Ability tutor works directly with identified high-ability students in literacy, math, and STEM to deliver advanced and accelerated instruction tailored to their academic needs.
Essential Functions:
Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects and students up to 40 pounds.
Physical stamina for standing, bending, squatting, or walking for long periods.
Hand-Eye Coordination: Especially for lifting, stacking, or operating machinery.
Repetitive Motions: Tolerance for repetitive tasks without injury or fatigue.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Previous experience with children or students with special needs.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others and understand individual students’ needs
Ability to accurately record and summarize data
Willingness to participate in pre and ongoing training programs
Understand the individual needs of students
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $22.00 Per Hour
