Caterpillar is looking for an entry-level Junior Supplier Quality Engineer for its Sosnowiec facility.
This role is ideal for early‑career professionals who want to build hands‑on experience in supplier quality, supplier management, and PPAP/APQP processes in an international environment.
Your job duties may include...
Processing PPAP documentation and approvals for assigned product categories
Supporting APQP activities, including coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Providing operational support to Buyers and Supplier Development Engineers
Processing purchasing activities in accordance with the internal standards, procedures, and PPs (Purchasing Practices)
Performing supplier quality audits, managing suppliers’ quality issues, and following up on action plans
Maintaining supplier data and providing administrative and reporting support
Managing supplier‑initiated process changes to ensure compliance and proper implementation
Managing and coordinating supplier capacity projects
Certifying suppliers
You will have...
Initial experience or strong interest in supplier quality or manufacturing quality
Fluent English
Ability to read and understand technical drawings (GD&T) and specifications
Willingness to travel to suppliers’ locations mainly in Europe as required (approximately 1 week per month)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. organizational skills, attention to detail, responsibility, fast learner
Top candidates will also be:
Familiar with PPAP process and basic requirements (CP,s, FMEA, PSW, AAR, Spc, etc.)
Confident in communicating with suppliers in an international environment
