About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking post frame building solutions - from the initial inquiry through to a signed contract. You will combine strong sales instincts with technical estimating skills to deliver accurate, competitive quotes that win business and set projects up for success.
What you will do
- Respond to inbound leads and proactively prospect new customers across residential, agricultural, and commercial markets
- Consult with customers to understand their building needs,
- Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and proposals for post frame building projects
- Present and explain quotes to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lumber, steel, and component pricing
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
- Track quotes, follow up with prospects,
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction sales, estimating, or a closely related field
- Working knowledge of post frame or metal building construction methods
- Strong math and analytical skills for accurate pricing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with post frame or pole barn estimating software
- Background in agricultural, commercial, or equestrian building markets
- Familiarity with local building codes and permit requirements
- Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales goals

Work environment
