BEUMER Corporation Controls Engineer in Somerset, New Jersey
BEUMER Corporation seeks a Controls Engineer in Somerset, NJ to design and program machine control for all types of BEUMER palletizers and Stretch Hood machines. Requirements: At a minimum, a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or the foreign degree equivalent; 2 years’ experience in the job offered or a related occupation; 2 years’ experience working with: PLCs, field buses, controls software engineering and functional testing, especially related to conveying/palletizing equipment/technologies; advanced machine control concepts, fundamental mathematical techniques, and programming of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs related to conveying/palletizing equipment/technologies; modern machine control & host system interfaces, both digitally and software based; advanced test processes and procedures coupled with in-house factory acceptance test; and safety system requirements, like Gates, e-Stop, etc. Applicants must also be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the work schedule, which may include repeated long-term (3-10 weeks) assignments at unanticipated work locations based on business needs. Salary: $127,171 - 137,171/yr. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus.
