LC Staffing Driver Class B CDL in Somers, Montana

Driver Class B CDLSomers, MTA local, family owned and operated, independent retailer in the Flathead Valley is hiring a Driver’s CDL Class B. Whether in the yard, store, or at customer job sites, drivers greet customers and provide prompt, friendly, and professional service. Utilizing safe driving practices, product knowledge, and proper materials handling, drivers ensure loads are accurate and delivered safely and neatly, reflecting a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Why You Want This Position:Competitive Wage: $24 to $30/hour + overtime, depending on experienceSchedule: Typically, up to 50 hours/week with flexible scheduling with advanced planningBusiness hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.Willingness to alternate Saturdays for lumberyard assistanceBenefits for eligible employees:Health and dental coverage (90% for employees, 60% for dependents), plus $200/month to HSA or Montana Medical Savings if eligiblePaid Time off and Paid Holidays401(k) with company matchEmployee purchase discountEssential Functions and Duties:Deliver materials to customer job sites safely and provide excellent customer serviceInspect, maintain, and keep truck and equipment clean on a daily/weekly basisLoad, unload, and verify materials for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation accompanies each deliveryPrevent damage to materials, equipment, and property during handling and transportComplete required logs and promptly report accidents, issues, or customer concerns to supervisorsAssist in the yard with customer service, returns, and general operations as neededQualifications:Valid Class B CDL (manual transmission, air brakes) and ability to operate a forkliftKnowledge of proper loading techniques, equipment capacity, and route planningStrong customer service, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to stay organized, manage time effectively, and maintain a positive attitudeWillingness to follow company policies and safely operate equipmentAbility to perform physical work, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 lbs in outdoor conditionsAbility to pass pre-employment drug screeningGet in touch!
